Treating the Whole Person:
Revisiting the Unconscious
Write your awesome label here.
Psychoanalysts Rex McGehee and Shawn Hofer discuss Freud's article The Unconscious and the interplay between our conscious and unconscious minds, and highlight Freud's topographic model as a still relevant way of understanding how the human mind operates. They consider the impact of working with the unconscious in treatment: how over time we can connect unconscious content with our conscious minds in ways that are useful in day to day life.
